"Shimokitazawa station"
"Save the Shimokitazawa" (STSK) aims at reexamining a road development plan that would destroy this striving alternative area.
The plan would not only wipe out a significant part of the neighborhood but also ruin the pedestrian charm and lively cultural atmosphere of Shimokitazawa, one of the liveliest urban areas in Japan .
In order to protect the neighborhood, we demand:
(1)Reconsider the city project for the Route 54" (between Road 7 and Sub-Road 24)
(2) Reconsider the simultaneous construction of District Road 10
(3) Shift policy toward renovative urban planning without systematic large scale destruction of existing area. |
